OFFICIAL NOTICE ON POSTPONEMENT OF JEE ADVANCED 2021
Back in April of 2021, a three-person high-level meeting was held in IIT Kharagpur to discuss the various factors that could affect the schedule of JEE-A, especially after the clear uncertainty over conducting the last two sessions of JEE-Main 2021 exam. As a result, it was ascertained in the meeting that a possible change in schedule for the JEE Advanced would be required.
Earlier, the authorities had also announced a relaxation in the JEE-Advanced 2021 eligibility criteria. As per the new norms, the aspirants are no longer required to fulfill the minimum JEE Advanced eligibility criteria of scoring 75% (65% for SC/ST category students) in Class 12 besides clearing the JEE Main exam.
In the meanwhile, as per a few media reports, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is likely to conduct the previously postponed April and May sessions of JEE Main 2021 at the end of July and August respectively. The final JEE Main 2021 exam date will be announced on the official website – www.jeemain.nta.nic.in at least 15 days before the exam.
