27 July, 2022, New Delhi, Indian Army Recruitment 2022: The Indian Army has released a recruitment notification for various posts of 60th Short Service Commission Technical (SSC Tech) and 31st Short Service Commission Technical (SSC Tech) for both men and women on its official website: joinindianarmy.nic.in.
To be eligible for the Indian Army SSC posts, all male and female applicants must be Indian citizens or subjects of Nepal, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, and the East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of becoming Indian citizens.
Candidates also need to have an engineering degree. The widows of Indian defence personnel who were martyred on the battlefield are also eligible to apply for Indian Army SSC Recruitment 2022. The application starting date for the recruitment process is July 26, 2022, and the last date of registration is August 24, 2022.
The shortlisted applicants will be enrolled in the Short Service Commission on a probationary period for the rank of Lieutenant at the Officers Training Academy (OTA), Chennai (Tamil Nadu).

- There are a total of 175 positions available for the Indian Army 60th Short Service Commission Technical (SSC Tech) men and women, and 14 vacancies are available for the Indian Army 31st Short Service Commission Technical (SSC Tech) for both men and women.
- The age limit for the Indian Army 60th Short Service Commission Technical (SSC Tech) and the age for Indian Army 31st Short Service Commission Technical (SSC Tech) for both men and women is 20 to 27 years as on 1 April 2023 (applicants born between April 2, 1996 and April 1, 2003, both days inclusive).
