New Delhi, 14 September 2022, HP High Court Recruitment 2022: The officials of Himachal Pradesh High Court have released a recruitment notice on the official website – hphighcourt.nic.in. Through this recruitment drive, a total 444 vacancies have been released by the Shimla High Court for Protocol Officer, Clerk, Junior Office Assistant (IT), Process Server, Peon/Orderly/Chowkidar cum Safai Karamchari, Mali, Stenographer, Driver and other posts. 

The online application has begun from 14 September 2022 and will be continued till 14 October 2022

HP High Court Recruitment 2022 – Important Dates

The candidates must submit their applications on the High Court of Himachal Pradesh website within the allotted time frame, which is till 14 October 2022. After the submission of applications, the recruitment board will conduct offline exams to select candidates for the relevant positions.

HP High Court Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility

  • Candidates must be citizens of India.
  • Candidates applying for the exam must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science with two years’ experience.
Process Server
  • Class 12 from a recognized institute
Peon/Orderly/Chowkidar cum Safai Karamchari
  • Class 12 from a recognized institute
Mali 
  • Class 10 from a recognized board
Stenographer
  • Class 12 from a recognized institute
  • Must have a minimum speed of 80 WPM for English steno and 60 WPM for Hindi steno.
Driver 
  • Class 10 from a recognized institute
  • Valid Driving License 
  • 3 Years of experience as a driver

Note: The candidates who fall under the reserved categories can avail the benefit of age relaxation. For Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) candidates, the upper age limit will be applicable as per the rules of Himachal Pradesh recruitment board.

HP High Court Recruitment 2022 – Selection Process

The selection process of HP High Court recruitment includes three stages: written test, document verification and interview.

Buddy4Study - IDFC FIRST

  • Written test: The candidates have to answer 3 sections of 50, 30 and 20 marks, respectively.
  • Document verification: The candidates are required to carry documents such as ID proof, marksheets, and other documents.
  • Interview: The candidates who successfully pass the written test and document verification round will be eligible to attend the interview.

HP High Court Recruitment 2022 – Exam Pattern

  • The HP High Court recruitment board sets the exam pattern and syllabus of High Court vacancies.
  • Part A of the written test will include a screening test.
  • Screening test will consist of 100 questions.
  • Candidates have to mark all the answers on the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheet.
  • Each question carries a weightage of 1 mark.
  • There is a negative marking rule of 1/3 marks for each wrong answer.
  • The candidates who qualify the screening test round will be eligible to give round two of the written examination. 
  • To pass the screening round candidates must secure 50% marks.
  • Part B of the written test will include essay writing and translation from English to Hindi and vice versa. 
  • Written test will consist of 80 marks.
  • Candidates have to qualify a typing test at 30 wpm. 
  • Interview round will be of 10 marks. Interviewer can ask questions on the following topic:
