June 30, 2023, New Delhi, EMRS Recruitment 2023 – Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRSs) are recruiting various teaching and non-teaching staff including – Principal, Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Accountant, Jr. Secretariat Assistant (JSA), and Lab Attendant. A total of 4062 vacancies are available for these posts.
To fill these vacancies in EMRSs across the country, the selection of candidates will be based on the EMRS Staff Selection Exam (ESSE) 2023. The exam will be conducted online.

EMRS Recruitment 2023 – Eligibility Criteria
Principal
- Candidates must not exceed 50 years.
- Candidates must have a master’s Degree from a recognized university/institute.
- Candidates must have a B.Ed. degree.
- Candidates must have 12 years of combined experience as Vice Principal/Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)/Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) with minimum 4 years as PGT and above.
- Experience of working in a fully residential school.
- Proficiency in English, Hindi, and regional language.
- Working knowledge of computers.
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
- Candidates must not exceed 40 years.
- Candidates must have a B.Ed. degree.
- Candidates must have a post graduate degree from any recognized university/institute deemed as university in the following subjects:
- PGT(English): English.
- PGT (Hindi): Hindi.
- PGT(Physics): Physics.
- PGT(Chemistry): Chemistry.
- PGT(Mathematics): Mathematics.
- PGT(Biology): Botany/Zoology/Biology.
- PGT(History): History.
- PGT(Geography): Geography.
- PGT(Commerce): Commerce with Accounting/Cost Accounting/Financial Accounting as a major subject of study. Holders of Degrees of M.Com. in Applied/Business Economics shall not be eligible.
