New Delhi, 29 June 2022: The University of Delhi has released the DU Academic Calendar 2022-23 yesterday, that is 28 June 2022. The academic calendar is meant for the students of the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth semesters belonging to undergraduate and postgraduate courses.ย
As per the latest schedule, the university will be conducting the odd semester from 20 July 2022 and the even semester will begin from 2 January 2023. Moreover, Delhi University has also started the online orientation-cum-guidance programme for Common University Entrance Test 2022 (CUET 2022) for SC/ST students. The online programme is supposed to be held till 8 July 2022.ย

DU 2022 – CUET Online Orientation Program Begins
The University of Delhi has begun the 12-day online orientation-cum-guidance program for the Common University Entrance Test 2022 (CUET 2022). This initiative has been taken especially for SC/ST students to guide them through the general and domain-specific subjects, which are two important aspects of the CUET 2022 exam.ย
Note: The program will be conducted online through 11 sessions spread over 6 days. A notice regarding the same was released by the University of Delhi on 14 June.ย
DU CUET 2022 Online Program – Details
- During the CUET online Orientation inaugural session, the candidates have been given an overview of the CUET examination process.ย
- Candidates have also been informed that the university will hold follow-up sessions wherein the resource people will address domain-specific queries and also discuss the pattern of questions likely to be prepared for CUET 2022.
- Candidates have also been given an overview of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which will be implemented from the present academic session 2022-23, and the flexibility that Delhi University students will be offered in terms of course selection.
Note: From 2022-23 onwards, Delhi University will do away with the old age practice of admission through merit list or cut-off as it has adopted CUET 2022 for enrolling students into the university.
