UPSSSC PET 2022: What is the Eligibility Criteria?
Education qualification: Candidates applying for the UPSSSC PET 2022 exam are required to have passed Class 12th.
Age: Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and should not be more than 40 years old as of July 1, 2022, with certain category-based age relaxations in place for SC/ST/OBC and other categories.
Category-based upper age limit relaxations are as follows:
- SC/ST/OBC – 5 years
- Meritorious Sportsperson – 5 years
- PWD – 15 years
- Ex-Service Men – 3 years

The application fee for candidates belonging to different categories is as follows:
- General and OBC category – Rs 185
- SC/ST Category – Rs 95
- PWD Category – Rs 25
All payments are to be made via online modes such as internet banking, debit card, credit card, and SBI e-challan.

- Click on the ‘Notification/Advertisement’ tab.
- Click on Apply.
- Click on ‘Candidate Registration’.
- Fill in the necessary details.
- Upload your photo and signature image.
- Verify the details and pay the fee.
- Submit the application form.
- Download the PDF and take a printout for future reference.
Note: After the UPSSSC PET 2022 exam, candidates will be required to appear for three further tests – skill test, mains test, and physical test.
