New Delhi, October 31, 2022, CBSE CTET 2022: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to begin the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2022 registrations on October 31, 2022. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for the exam by registering on the official website: ctet.nic.in till November 24, 2022. Such candidates can pay the examination fee by November 25 by 3:30 pm.
Note: Candidates who will successfully submit the CTET 2022 application form will be allowed to download the CTET admit card 2022 a few days before the exam.

CBSE CTET 2022 – Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria are different for selecting candidates for the post of teacher for Classes 1 to 5 and for Classes 6 to 8. For Classes 1 to 5, the eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Candidates who have completed their Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with a minimum of 50% marks and cleared or appeared in the final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration) are eligible.
- Candidates who have completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam securing a minimum of 45% marks and have cleared or appeared in the final year exam of Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration) are eligible.
- Candidates who have completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent test with a minimum of 50% marks and have cleared or appeared in the final year exam of Bachelor of Elementary Education (4 years duration) are eligible.
For Classes 6 to 8, the eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Candidates who hold a Graduation degree and have passed or are appearing in the final year examination of a Diploma in Elementary Education (2 years duration) are eligible.
- Candidates who have completed his/her Graduation degree with 50% marks and have cleared or appeared in the final year exam of Bachelor in Education are eligible.
- Candidates who have completed their Graduation degree with 40% marks and have cleared or appeared in the final year exam of Bachelor in Education are eligible.
- Candidates who have completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent test with a minimum of 50% marks and have cleared or appeared in the final year exam of 4 years duration Bachelor of Elementary Education are eligible.
- Candidates who have completed Senior Secondary or its equivalent exam with 50% marks and cleared or appearing in the final year exam of B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed or B.A/B.Sc.Ed. are eligible.
- Candidates who have a Graduation degree with 50% marks and have cleared or appeared in a B.Ed program of 1-year duration are eligible.

How to Apply for CBSE CTET 2022?
- Candidates have to first visit the official CTET website
- Then, they are required to click on the registration link provided on the home page.
- Thereafter, they can register using the required details and save the registration number.
- After registering, candidates will be required to fill in the online application form and upload documents. Lastly, they are required to pay the application fee and take printouts of the confirmation page for further use.
