Banaras Hindu University or BHU has postponed the dates of the UET (Undergraduate Entrance Exam) and PET (Postgraduate Entrance Exam) for the year 2020. The exams which were previously scheduled on the 26th April 2020 and 10th May 2020 have been postponed and their revised dates will be notified soon by the BHU. In the meanwhile, candidates who were hoping for the release of the BHU admission admit cards may also have to wait for the official confirmation.

BHU Admission Admit Card – Highlights

  1. BHU entrance exam admit cards will be released at least 1 week prior to the starting date of the exams. These admit cards will be a gate pass for every aspirant to successfully appear for the BHU entrance exam.
  2. The BHU entrance admit cards will only be released online for both UET AND PET.  Thus, under no circumstance will the admit card be sent through a post to the eligible candidates. 
  3. Aspirants must download the admit card from the official website of BHU. 
  4. Candidates who have successfully completed the registration/application on the website will be able to download the admit card. 
  5. Credentials like registration number, email ID and password are needed to generate the admit card. 
  6. Aspirants must precisely check the details mentioned on the admit card and in case of any discrepancy, must urgently contact the helpline desk of the BHU. 
  7. The BHU entrance exam is conducted in the CBT (Computer-based Test) mode in more than 200 cities of India.

BHU Admission Admit Card – Procedure to Download the Admit Card

BHU will soon release the admit cards for both UET and PET 2020. Candidates may follow the steps given below to download the admit cards.

  • Visit the official website of the Banaras Hindu University.
  • Click on the link mentioning ’BHU Admit Card 2020’.
  • Enter a few credentials like Email ID, Registration ID and the Password.
  • After submitting the information, you will be redirected to a page where you will see your admit card.
  • Download a few copies of the admit card and make sure that you check the details mentioned on it.
  • After taking the printouts, make sure that you affix a passport size photograph on one of the copies.
