CUET UG 2023 – 20k Students Score 100 Percentile, DU Cut-off To Go High

New Delhi, September 20, 2022: Around 20,000 students have scored 100 percentile in thirty subjects in the CUET UG 2022 examination. With a rise in the number of students scoring 100 percentile this year, the cut offs are expected to go high at various colleges and universities, including Delhi University. The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared CUET UG results on September 16, 2022.

Note

  • More than 8,000 students have scored 100 percentile in English, 2,065 students have scored 100 percentile in Political Science, 1,669 students have scored 100 percentile in Business Studies, 1,324 students have scored 100 percentile in Biology, and 1,188 students have scored  100 percentile in Economics.
  • Regarding the other subjects, 893 students have scored 100 percentile in History, 875 students have scored 100 percentile in Hindi, 422 students have scored 100 percentile in Accountancy, and 326 students have scored 100 percentile in Geography.

CUET UG 2022 – DU Admissions Through CSAS Portal

  • The University of Delhi launched the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) portal on September 12, 2022 for DU UG admissions 2022. Interested candidates can apply to colleges affiliated with the University of Delhi by registering on the official website.
  • The CSAS 2022 phase 1 registration for CUET UG candidates is ongoing and the registration process will continue till October 10, 2022.
  • DU has also announced the CSAS phase 2 registration date for candidates who have passed the CUET UG 2022 entrance exam. The second phase of CSAS will start on September 26, 2022 and will end on October 10, 2022.
  • The CSAS phase 2 will include ‘preference-filing’, in which candidates have to choose the programmes in which they are willing to take admission (if allocated).
  • The candidates will also be required to fill in the programme and college combination preferences for every programme selected by them in the CUET application form. 
  • CUET aspirants can fill in their preferences for desired programmes and colleges in CSAS phase 2 registration.
  • The application window for both CSAS phase 1 and phase 2 will remain open till October 10, 2022. The candidates who have opted DU for admission can apply online from the official website.

CUET UG 2022 – DU Admissions Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 from any recognised school board or have obtained an equivalent qualification recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
  • Candidates must appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2022) in the subjects mentioned under the programme-specific eligibility for the programme they want to study.

  • Candidates are required to visit the official website.
  • Then, they are required to click on the link that reads “admission for undergraduate programmes.”
  • After clicking on the admission link, they are required to register on the website by filling in the required information.
  • Candidates are required to enter all the required personal and educational details and upload marksheets, photographs, and signature.
  • Then, they are required to submit the registration fees through given online portals.
  • Lastly, they are required to download the application confirmation report and save it for future reference.
