New Delhi, 01 February 2022: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is all set to release the UPSC Indian Administrative Service (IAS) application form 2022 online on its official website tomorrow, that is, 2 February 2022. The eligible candidates can fill out the UPSC IAS 2022 application form on the official website from 2 February to 22 February, 2022.
UPSC IAS 2022 – Application Form Detail
The UPSC IAS 2022 application form will be available in two parts – Part I & II. Part I involves filling one’s basic details like name, age, gender, and category. Part II involves the steps of application fee payment, uploading the scanned image, and selecting preferred exam centre.

UPSC IAS 2022 – Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates applying for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS) exam are required to hold a Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent degree in any discipline.
- The minimum age to apply for the IAS exam is 21 years and the maximum age is 32 years for the general category. The relaxation for other categories are as follows:

- SC: 5 years
- ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- Defence services personnel: 3 years
- Ex-servicemen: 3 years
- PwD: 10 years
Note: The date of birth as mentioned in the High School/Higher Secondary certificate will be considered by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
