JEE Main, SAT Scores To Be Considered For Engineering Admissions At VIT

Vellore Institute of Technology has confirmed that it will be accepting JEE Main and SAT merits for admissions to its engineering courses. In its latest brochure regarding the 2021 B.Tech admissions, VIT Chennai has stated that candidates securing eligible JEE Main or SAT scores will also be considered for admissions. Previously, only VITEEE scores were considered for admissions into B.Tech courses at Vellore Institute of Technology. The eligibility criteria will soon be notified on the official website for all the VIT campuses- Vellore, Chennai, Andhra Pradesh and Bhopal.

Admission process for VIT 2021 has commenced from 30th November 2021. The VITEEE application forms are currently available on the official website- viteee.vit.ac.in. The deadline for filling the application forms is upto 30th March 2021. VITEEE 2021 is scheduled to be conducted in the first half of April 2021.

VITEEE 2021 – How to apply?

Aspiring candidates who seek to apply for the VITEEE 2021 must follow the step by step process given below –

  • Visit the official website of VIT.
  • Click on the “New User” tab mentioned in the left hand side of the home screen.
  • Register yourself by entering credentials such as candidate’s name, parent’s name, mail IDe and personal phone number.
  • A verification link will be instantly sent to your registered email ID.
  • Your login details (registration ID and password) will be sent to your email ID for further login purposes.
  • Next, proceed to fill the required personal and academic details.
  • Now, upload the scanned copies of the required documents within the specified limits.
  • After filling all the required details in the application form, re-check and verify before final submission.
  • After uploading the scanned copies of signature and photograph, pay the application form fee.
  • After the submission of the application fee, a confirmation page will be displayed on your screen.
  • Finally, take a few print outs of the confirmation page for future reference.
