UPTET 2021 Exam To Be Held on 23 January 2022, Read Details Here

New Delhi, 23 December, 2021: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) has announced the exam date for Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) 2021. As per the announcement, the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2021 exam will be held on January 23, 2022.Β 

Candidates who have registered for the exam can check UPTET 2021 revised schedule on UPBEB’s official website. The UPTET exam will be held in two shifts. Shift 1 will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and shift 2 will be from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.Β 

Note: Earlier, the board had cancelled the UPTET 2021 exam scheduled on 28 November 2021 due to a question paper leak.Β

  • Release of Admit Card (revised) – 12 January 2022Β 
  • Revised Exam Date 2021 – 23 January 2022Β 
  • Release of Provisional Answer key – 27 January 2022Β 
  • Last date to raise objections – 1 February 2022Β 
  • Final answer key – 23 February 2022Β 
  • Result Release Date – 25 February 2022Β 

UPTET 2021 Exam- Pattern

  • The exam comprises two papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2.Β 
  • Paper 1 is for candidates who have applied for classes 1–5
  • Paper 2 is for candidates who have applied for classes 6–8.Β 
  • The exam duration is 2 hours 30 minutes for each paper.Β 

UPTET 2021 Exam- Eligibility

  • Candidates belonging to India, Nepal, Tibet, and Bhutan are eligible for the exam.
  • The age of the candidates must be between 18 and 35 years, respectively.Β 
  • Candidates who belong to reserved categories will be given age relaxation as has been laid by government guidelines.

  • Relaxed age criteria for OBC candidates – 18 to 38 years
  • Relaxed age criteria for SC/ST candidates – 18 to 40 years
  • Relaxed age criteria for PH (physically handicapped) candidates – 18 to 45 year
