September 29, 2022, Lucknow, UP Police Constable Recruitment: The Uttar Pradesh Government has made the decision to recruit sportspersons, both men and women, as police constables through the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB).
The candidates would be evaluated on their athletic skills. They must have a participation certificate in any one of the 8 sports events designated by the UP police. This will serve as the minimum criteria for consideration.
The starting date for the online application is October 1, 2022, and the last date to submit the form and pay the fee is October 31, 2022. Interested candidates will be able to register online for the recruitment drive on the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPRPB) official website: uppbpb.gov.in.
Under the recruitment drive, 534 new recruits will be accommodated, including 335 men and 199 women.
In an effort to further encourage individuals to apply for the recruitment drive, the lower age limit of 18 years has been decreased by 2 years, while the upper age limit of 22 years has been raised by 5 years.
Furthermore, in order to be eligible for the position, candidates must also have passed Class 12 from an accredited Indian educational board (any other equivalent degree will also be considered).
