New Delhi, 17th May 2022: The Tamil Nadu Teacherβs Recruitment Board (TRB) will be conducting the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test 2022 (TNTET 2022) at the end of July this year. To teach in various institutions in the state, the candidates aspiring to be teachers should qualify the TNTET exam. TNTET consists of two papers. Candidates who clear paper 1 are eligible to teach classes from 1 to 5, and those who clear paper 2 can teach classes from 6 to 8. Both papers 1 and 2 will be held on two separate days.Β
The TNTET application portal was open from March 14 to April 26, 2022. Till date, over 6.3 lakh applicants have filled in the form for the exam. Aspiring teachers who clear the exam are awarded the TET certificate so that they can teach primary and upper primary students in the state of Tamil Nadu.Β
