SSC CGL Result 2018 To Release Soon – Check Steps, Salary, and Other Details

New Delhi, 1 April 2021 – Staff Selection Commission or SSC will soon release the CGL final result 2018 on the official website of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) – www.ssc.nic.in. As per the status report shared by SSC, the CGL result was scheduled to be announced on Wednesday, 31st March 2021. However, due to uncertain reasons, the result wasn’t released on the designated date. Nevertheless, the exam authority has stated that the result will be announced soon. 

Only those candidates who have appeared for the SSC Combined Graduate level exam 2018 can check and download the final result. The result of the SSC CGL 2018 examination will available in PDF format and contain details like:

  • Name
  • Registration number
  • Roll number
  • Parents name
  • Gender
  • Category
  • Score in CBT exam

How to check SSC CGL Final Result 2018?

Candidates need to follow the below-mentioned steps to download the SSC CGL result:

  1. Visit the official website of SSC – https://ssc.nic.in/
  2. When the homepage opens, click on the SSC CGL 2018 Final Result
  3. Click on the login link
  4. When the page is redirected to the login window, enter your essential credentials
  5. Cross-check the entries
  6. Click on the ‘Submit’ tab
  7. The SSC CGL 2018 final result will be displayed on the screen
  8. Download SSC CGL final result 2018 and save it for future reference.

SSC CGL 2018 – Highlights

  1. The SSC CGL 2018 Tier 1 exam was conducted from 4th June to 9th June 2019.
  2. The shortlisted candidates sat for the SSC CGL 2018 Tier 2 exam, which was held from 11th to 13th September 2021.
  3. Finally, the SSC CGL 2018 Tier 3 written exams were conducted on 29th December 2019.
  4. A total of 50,293 candidates were declared qualified for appearing in the Tier-III (descriptive paper) but only 41,803 candidates appeared for it.
  5. The result of the Tier 3 exam was declared on 30th September 2020.
  6. SSC CGL 2018 Skill Test was conducted on 18th and 19th January 2020 across the country followed by the document verification.
  7. The document verification process was conducted on 27th January 2021.

SSC CGL Result 2018 – Vacancy and Salary

The SSC CGL exam 2018 was conducted to recruit 11, 271 vacancies in different departments. The selection of the candidates will be based on their performance in all three tiers (Tier -1, Tier -2, Tier 3) exams. The shortlisted candidates will be hired by the Staff Selection Commission under the following pay bands.

SSC CGL Salary Structure

Pay Band for Group B Rs 9300 – Rs 34800
Pay Band for Group C Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200
