SSC CGL Exam Dates – Notifications, Key Dates, Answer Key, Exam Centres

SSC CGL Exam Dates – SSC CGL 2019 Tier I was conducted on the scheduled dates (3-9 March 2020) and the candidates qualifying Tier I will become eligible to appear for Tier II. While the results of the Tier I exam have been postponed, its answer key has been released on March 15, 2020, itself. Candidates can download the SSC CGL Tier I answer key by using their registration ID and password. Also, SSC CGL (2018) Tier-III result that was scheduled to be announced on May 08, 2020, has been postponed due to the nation-wise COVID-19 lockdown. 

SSC CGL recruitment exam is conducted in four stages – Tier I Preliminary Exam; Tier II Main Exam; Tier III Descriptive Test and Tier IV Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test. As of now, SSC CGL 2019 Tier II and Tier III are scheduled to be conducted from June 22 to June 25, 2020

SSC CGL Exam Dates – 2019 Tier 1 Answer Key

Tier I Answer Key for SSC CGL 2019 was released on 15 March 2020. The answer keys released by the authorities are tentative. This means that if a candidate is not satisfied with the answer of any question, he/she can apply for an objection on it or challenge it. The authorities will then formally evaluate the objection and release the final results accordingly.

Process to check the answer key

Step 1: Visit the official website of SSC

Step 2: Find and click the “Answer Key” tab available on the Homepage of the website

Step 3: Click on the link for which you want to check the answer key

Step 4: Enter the user ID and password and click on the “Login” button

Step 5: Download and print SSC CGL answer key

SSC CGL 2019 Tier-I Online Exam was conducted from March 3, 2020, to March 9, 2020. The Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Exam is conducted every year for the recruitment of posts like Inspector/ Sub-Inspector, Auditor, Accountant / Junior Accountant, Senior Secretariat Assistant / Upper Division Clerks, etc. 

SSC CGL 2019 Tier I Paper Analysis:

  1. Quantitative aptitude paper was of moderate difficulty level.
  2. General Intelligence & Reasoning was easier to solve.
  3. The General Awareness section was of moderate difficulty level and the maximum number of questions were from current affairs.
  4. English Language and Comprehension questions were easy to solve.

There are 4 stages of the SSC CGL exam - Tier I, Tier II, Tier III, and Tier IV. Tier I is a computer-based exam that contains objective-type Multiple Choice Questions. Tier II is a computer-based four-part MCQ test. Tier 3 is a descriptive type paper and Tier IV is a computer proficiency skill test that includes document verification.
