SSC CGL 2022 – Tier 1 Exam Dates Released, First Exam on Dec 1

New Delhi, 1 November 2022, SSC CGL 2022: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the exam dates for the SSC Combined Graduation Level (CGL) Tier 1 exam 2022-23 on 31 October 2022. As per the official notification, the SSC Combined Graduation Level (CGL) 2022 registration began on 17 September 2022 and ended on 13 September 2022.

The SSC Combined Graduation Level (CGL) 2022 exam date is 1 December 2022. The exam will be a computer-based test. Additionally, according to the notification, the SSC Combined Graduation Level (CGL) 2022 admit card will be provided somewhere during the second week of November 2022.

SSC CGL 2022 – Selection Process

The selection for SSC Combined Graduation Level (CGL) posts will be done through a three-phase process, namely, Tier 1 exam, Tier 2 exam, and document verification.

  • Tier 1 Exam
    • The written test will be held in a computer-based mode.
    • Each section will consist of 25 questions for 50 marks.
    • The maximum time limit for each stage is 60 minutes.
    • A 0.25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
  • Tier 2 Exam
    • The written test will be held in a computer-based mode.
    • The qualified candidates in Section 1 and Section 2 are required to appear for Section 3, i.e. Computer Knowledge Test and Data Entry Speed Test (DEST).
    • Each section will consist of 100 questions for 200 marks.
  • Documents Verification
    • Candidates must carry an original birth certificate, a passport-size photograph, domicile certificate, and Adhaar card at the time of the interview.
    • Candidates must make sure to self-attest each document.
