SBI PO Prelims Result 2023 Out – Read Details Here

The State Bank of India has declared the results of Preliminary Officers (PO) on Monday evening, 18th January 2021. SBI has announced that the candidates will be able to download their results on the official website (www.sbi.co.in).

Candidates, who have appeared for SBI PO 2020 prelims examination on 4th, 5th and 6th January 2020 respectively, will be able to download their SBI PO result by logging into the SBI Career website using their registration number/roll number and date of birth. The result is available in the form of a merit list that has been drawn based on the aggregate marks scored in the Preliminary Examination. 

The result sheet contains only the candidates’ category-wise cut off marks. There will be no sectional cut off. Candidates who have appeared for the SBI PO 2020 will be able to see their merit cards in PDF format.

In addition to the above statement, SBI has further stated, “Candidates, numbering approximately 10 times the numbers of vacancies in each category, will be shortlisted for the SBI PO Main examination from the top of above merit list.”

Along with all this information, candidates should take note that at present due to heavy traffic, the SBI Career website (www.sbi.co.in/careers) is down. As per the instruction of SBI, candidates who are not able to download their website must not panic. They are advised to check the website after a short while.

Candidates need to follow the below steps carefully to download the SBI PO result.

  1. Visit the official website of SBI – www.sbi.co.in
  2. Click on Careers option available on homepage (top right corner)
  3. Click on the SBI PO 2020 prelims result link
  4. Candidates will be redirected to a login window
  5. Now, enter the candidate’s registration/roll number and date of birth
  6. The SBI PO prelims result will be displayed on the screen
  7. Finally, download the result and save for future references

SBI PO Scorecard 2020

After the release of the SBI PO result (Prelims), SBI publishes the online scorecard. The scorecard contains the marks earned by the candidates during the test. It includes the following details:

  • Name of the candidates
  • State applied for
  • Roll number
  • Category
  • Registration number
  • Obtained standard score
  • Minimum qualifying marks
  • Maximum standard score

SBI selects its Probationary Officers based on the marks gained in the written exams and interview. It conducts two online exams (Prelims and Mains) and interview. Candidates shortlisted in the SBI PO prelims exam are eligible to sit for the Mains exam. They will soon issue Mains admit cards for the eligible candidates to appear for the SBI PO Main exam on 29th January 2021

It is speculated that the Mains result will be out by the third or fourth week of February 2021. The assumption continues to the interview round date, which is being considered to be held in March 2021. The final SBI PO result is expected to be declared in the last week of March 2021.
