Responding to the concern on conducting the exam online, Dr. Pokhriyal said that CBSE and other boards are well-aware of the current situation and the hardships faced by the students during this academic session. This is why the exams are being conducted with reduced syllabus. He further added, “The students will only have to study the revised syllabus for their CBSE board exams. The questions will only be asked from that portion.”

Furthermore, the minister also stated that online classes will still remain an option for students who are unable to physically join the school. “The physical classes will resume and there will be 50-50 percent balance between online classes and attending classes physically”, he added. He also motivated and encouraged students to focus on their academics despite the pandemic situation.
