New Delhi, 27 February 2023 – Punjab PSPCL Apprentice Recruitment 2023 – Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL) has issued an online recruitment notice for the post of Apprentice in lineman trade. Eligible candidates can apply on the PSPCL’s official website until 27 March 2023.

The PSPCL recruitment drive seeks to fill 1500 vacancies in total. The current monthly stipend is INR 7,700.

Punjab PSPCL Apprentice Recruitment 2023 – Eligibility

  • The minimum age of candidates applying for the position of Apprentice in lineman trade should be 18 as of 2 January 2023.
  • Candidates must possess an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) qualification in the wireman or electrician trade. The certificate must be duly issued by National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) orΒ  State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT).
  • Only candidates from Punjab will be considered for appointment.Β 
  • Proficiency in Punjabi language is required for all applicants.Β 
  • All candidates must have passed Punjabi language subject at Class 10 or equivalent level from a recognised institution prior to the last date for online application submission.

Punjab PSPCL Apprentice Recruitment 2023 – Recruitment Process

  • The candidates who meet the requirements will have to take an online test with 100 questions.
  • The exam covers topics such as wireman/electrician trade questions, Punjabi grammar, and general knowledge. It will comprise 70, 20, and 10 questions, respectively.
  • The test will be in both Punjabi and English.

Application Fee

  • The application fee for General candidates will be INR 420.Β 
  • The Scheduled Caste and Backward Classes categories have fees of INR 280 and INR 420, respectively.
