NEET UG Result 2022 Released, Here’s How to Check Scorecard

New Delhi, 07 September 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) result 2022 today, that is, 7 September 2022. Candidates are advised to check their results at the official website- neet.nta.nic.in. Along with the result, the category-wise cut-off for NEET UG 2022 has also been released.

Note

  • The NEET UG 2022 exam was held on 17 July 2022.
  • A total of 18.72 lakh candidates registered for the entrance test. 
  • As per the NTA, 95 per cent of the candidates appeared for NEET UG. 
  • The medical entrance examination was held across 3,570 centers in 497 cities in India and 14 cities abroad.

NEET UG Result 2022 – Answer Keys

  • On 31 August 2022, the National Testing Agency (NTA) released the NEET official answer key for all codes. 
  • Candidates were given time till September 2 to raise a challenge against any answer given in the key.
  • Along with the provisional answer key, the National Testing Agency (NTA) had also released the NEET OMR response sheets of the candidates. 
  • Using the NEET answer key and OMR answer sheet, candidates can calculate their approximate scores. 

Note: From 2022, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has removed age as the tie-breaking criteria. If a tie occurs between two students, NTA will resolve it based on the marks obtained in biology. If it continues further, a student gaining higher marks in chemistry gets preference followed by the candidate with fewer incorrect answers.

Note

  • Candidates who have qualified for NEET UG 2022 will have to take part in the NEET counselling session, which will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for 15% All India Quota seats. 
  • The counselling for 85% state quota seats will be conducted by the counselling authorities of the respective states.

  • Click on the NTA NEET result 2022 link available on the home page. 
  • Enter login details and click on “Submit”.

  • Keep a hard copy of the same for further use.
