NEET-UG 2021 Registration Begins From 19 Jan, NEET-PG Exam on 12 March

New Delhi, 17 January, 2022: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will start the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET-UG) 2021 counselling process online from January 19 on its official website. Candidates are required to register for counselling from 19 January to 24 January, 2022.ย

NEET UG Counselling 2021 Round 1: Details

  • January 17 and 18: Round 1 verification of seat matrix will be conducted by the institutes.
  • January 19 to January 24: Commencement of registration/payment process up to 12:00 pm.ย 
  • January 20 to January 24: Commencement of choice filling at 11:55 pm.ย 
  • January 24: Choice locking facility from 4:00 pm to 11:55 pm.ย 
  • January 25 to January 26: Verification of internal candidates by the respective universities/institutes.ย 
  • January 27 to 28: Seat processing allotment.
  • January 29: Declaration of Round 1 seat result.

Note: The payment facility will be available for three more hours, until 3:00 pm on January 24.

NEET UG Counselling 2021 Round 2: Details

  • 7 February to 8 February: Verification of seat matrix by institutes.
  • 9 February to 14 February: Commencement of registration/payment process up to 12:00 pm.ย 
  • 10 February to 14 February: Beginning of choice filling.
  • 14 February: Choice locking from 4:00 pm to 11:55 pm.
  • 15 February to 16 February: Verification of internal candidates by the respective universities/institutes.ย 
  • 17 February to 18 February: Processing of seat allotment.ย 
  • 19 February: Declaration of Round 2 seat allotment result.

Note: The payment facility will be available for three more hours, until 3:00 pm on February 14.

NEET UG Counselling 2021 Round 3: Details

  • 28 February and 1 March: Verification of the seat matrix by institutes will be done for the MOP-up round for all India quota/deemed and central university seats/PG Diplomate of National Board (DNB) seats.ย 
  • 2 to 7 March: Registration and the payment gateway will be open.
  • 3 to 7 March: Choice filling facility will be available to students.ย 
  • 8 and 9 March: Verification of seat matrix by institutes will be done.
  • 10 and 11 March: Process of seat allotment.
  • 12 March: Declaration of results

Note: The Mop Up round is the process of counselling of seat allotment in medical colleges by states against the reverted seats from All India 15% quota. This round is meant only for those candidates which do not get seats in round 1 and round 2. This is not applicable for the candidates who already got seats alloted. Candidates who are qualified but do not get any seat in round 1 and round 2 are automatically eligible for the Mop-up round.

NEET UG Counselling 2021 Round 4: Details

  • 21 March: Seat allotment process.
  • 22 March: Declaration of result.
  • 23 March to 26 March: Reporting by students.

NEET UG Counselling 2021: Registration and Choice Filling Process

  1. Visit the website and click on the โ€œnew registrationโ€ tab.
  2. Fill in the details such as NEET roll number, registration number, date of birth, and other required information
  3. Pay the NEET UG 2021 counselling registration fee.
  4. Fill in the course of your choice and list the colleges according to the preference.
  5. Candidates should note that there is no limit on the number of choices that can be filled.
  6. After this, candidates need to lock the choices within the mentioned dates.

NEET PG 2022: Registration Date

The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has also started the NEET PG registration for the NEET PG 2022 exam on its official website on January 15. As per NBE, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Postgraduate or NEET PG 2022 exam will be held on 12 March, 2022.

  • 15 January to 4 February: Submission of NEET PG application form 2022 online by eligible students.ย 
  • 31 March: NEET PG result 2022 declaration

How to apply for NEET PG 2022?

Candidates are required to follow the steps given below to fill the NEET PG 2022 application form:

1. Visit the NBE’s official website.

2. Click on the โ€˜New registrationโ€™ tab.

3. Fill in personal, academic, and communication details asked in the NEET PG application form.

  • User ID and password will be generated after candidates fill the NEET PG 2022 form.

4. Upload scanned images of photographs and signatures.

5. Fill preferences for the NEET PG 2022 exam city.

6. Pay the application fee as per your category.

7. Submit and take the printout of the NEET PG 2022 application form for future use.

Note: For both UG and PG medical and dental seats, MCC counselling will be conducted in four rounds. These are: AIQ round 1, AIQ round 2, AIQ mop-up round, and AIQ stray vacancy round.
