New Delhi, 10 August 2021 – The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the online registration window for NEET 2021 today. Eligible aspirants can fill the NEET 2021 application form at www.neet.nta.nic.in.
Aspirants must submit the required details and upload all the necessary documents to complete the registration process by 9:30 PM tonight. However, the NEET UG 2021 registration fee can be paid by 11:50 PM.
NEET 2021 Application Form – Correction Window
The NEET application date was extended till 10th August because the NTA had received numerous requests from students, urging them to consider the COVID-19 situation before closing the application window.
While the application portal will close today, the correction window will open tomorrow (11th August 2021) and close on 14th August 2021.
Not every aspect can be edited or corrected in the submitted NEET application form 2021. The details that can be rectified in the registration form are:
- Personal details
- Medium of question paper
- Place of birth
- Academic details of Class 10, 11 and 12
- Choice of exam city
- Details of parents/guardians
- Permanent and correspondence address
How to Apply for NEET 2021?
To fill in and submit the NEET application form 2021, aspirants can follow the below-mentioned steps:
- Visit the official NTA NEET website
- Click on ‘Fill Registration Form’
- Click on ‘New Registration’
- Read the instructions and procedure for online submission of the NEET application form
- Check the box beside ‘I have downloaded Information Bulletin, read and understood all the instructions therein as well as those mentioned above, and filling up the online application form accordingly’
- Click on ‘Click Here to Proceed’
- Fill in the details like personal details, present address, permanent address
- Create a password, select a security question and answer and enter the provided security PIN
- After entering the asked details and password, a provisional application number will be generated after registration for NEET 2021 to login
- Complete the Application Form
- Upload scanned images of the candidate’s photograph and signature
- Pay the application fee and submit the form

NEET 2021 – Things to Ensure Before Filling in the Application Form
- All the documents to be uploaded for the NEET-UG application process 2021 must be in JPG/JPEG format.
- Apart from JPEG/JPG, no other format will be accepted.
- The files must not be encrypted or be password protected. This would prevent the candidate from uploading the required files.
- The background of the photograph should be mandatorily white.
- Other than religious reasons, headgear is not allowed.
- Candidates must ensure that they have enough copies of the photographs.
- They should carry the same photograph (uploaded) to the examination centre on the date of the exam.
- Besides the documents that students need to upload, they would also need access to their Class 12 result certificate (if announced), Aadhaar Card (for providing the last 4 digits).
- Candidates must have credit/debit card/net banking details for paying the online application fees.
