KCET 2023 Postponed; To be Conducted on August 28, 29ย 

In view of the current COVID-19 situation, the Karnataka Government has postponed the Karnataka Common Entrance Test or KCET 2021 to 28 and 29 August 2021. On both the days, the exam will be conducted in two shifts. The exam was earlier scheduled to be held on 7 and 8 July 2021.ย 

Important Points:

The Deputy Chief Minister of Karnataka – Dr. Ashwathnarayan C. N. released a formal notification regarding the postponement of KCET, stating the following points:

  • The reason behind the rescheduling of KCET 2021 is the raging COVID-19 situation as well as the postponement of second PUC or Class 12 exams.
  • The Kannada Language Test for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga students has also been postponed. It will now be conducted on 30 August 2021
  • Further applications will be invited online shortly

Biology – 10:30 am to 11:50 am (morning shift)

Physics – 10:30 am to 11:50 am (morning shift)

60 marks

Chemistry – 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm (afternoon shift)

Kannada Language Test date

Monday, 30 August (11:30 am to 12:30 pm)

KCET 2021

The Karnataka Common Entrance Test or KCET is conducted to provide admission to students in the stateโ€™s institutions in undergraduate engineering, technology, yoga and naturopathy, farm science and pharma courses. The schedule of the admission process of this pen and paper test (including release of application form, information bulletin, results etc) will be duly notified on the official website.ย
