In order to pass the JAC 10th class examination, a minimum of 33 marks is to be scored by a student in each subject. A student can calculate their total CGPA they got in the exam in three steps as listed below. Before calculating the CGPA know the grade allocated to a range of mark as per the council:

  2. 81-90: 9 grade points
  3. 71-80: 8 grade points
  4. 61-70: 7 grade points
  5. 51-60: 6 grade points

  7. 33-40: 4grade points

Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) will give a second chance to students who do not manage to pass in JAC matric result 2020. In case a student fails in a maximum of two subjects, he/she will be able to apply for the compartment exam in the month of May 2026. The result for this examination is likely to be declared in July 2026.
