JEE Main Answer Key – Dates, How to Download and Previous Answer Keys

National Testing Agency or NTA releases the provisional JEE Main answer key after the commencement of the JEE Main exam. The answer key is released separately for all three JEE Main exams – B.E/BTech, B.Arch. and B. Planning. The JEE Main is conducted in two sessions – forenoon and afternoon. The February session of the JEE Main 2021 is now being conducted (23rd to 26th February 2021) and the release of the answer key is expected 2-3 days after that.

JEE Main Answer Key – What is it?

After the JEE Main, NTA releases answers to different question papers in the form of ‘Provisional Answer Key’. Candidates may themselves evaluate their marks after going through the ‘provisional answer key’. Since the provisional answer key is subject to change, candidates may file objections on the wrong answers.

To do so, they must fill the online registration for filing objections on the official website of NTA-JEE Main. After that, the exam authority scrutinizes the objections and prepares a ‘final answer key’, which cannot be objected to by the aspirants. NTA then compiles the final results according to the final answer key.
