25 July 2022, Pune, Free NEET Coaching: A team of doctors and medical students in Pune (Maharashtra) have come together to provide free NEET coaching to underprivileged students from rural areas. This is being done under the Lift for Upliftment (LFU) project, which was started in 2015. It has helped over a hundred children from socially and economically marginalised sections till date.
According to the founders of the LFU, the top NEET coaching institutes are very expensive and average students coming from underprivileged backgrounds cannot afford them. To overcome this economic restraint, LFU was started.ย
It now prepares 60 students every year for NEET UG. LFU has also recently established one of its branches in the Melghat area of eastern Maharashtra, which is 600 km away from Mumbai. The branch was named โUlgulanโ after the great anti-colonial uprising led by tribal freedom fighter Birsa Munda.ย
One of the founders also stated that in NEET 2020, out of the 46 LFU students, 26 successfully cracked the NEET exam. Since 2016, out of the 250 LFU students, 130 are doctors now. Candidates can register for LFU coaching on its official website: lfupune.in

Free NEET Coaching – Teaching Programme
- The lectures will take place 6 days a week.
- Everyday, two lectures will be held for 1.5 hours.
- Then, a 3-hour exam will follow after the discussion.ย
- A doubt clearing session will also take place after the lecture and test.
- There will also be a weekly MCQ-based NEET mock test.
- Then, there will also be theory and arithmetic problem practice sessions.
- Revision classes after the completion of the syllabus will also be held.
- The test series will consist of three rounds, consisting of unit-wise, section-wise, and full syllabus.
Free NEET Coaching – Registration Process
- Candidates must visit the LFUโs official website: lfupune.in
- Then they must click on a “three-lined” symbol on the top right corner of the page.
- Then, they must click on the “Download Admission Form” option.
- Once they download the admission form, candidates must take a print out of the first six pages of the form, fill in the required details, and sign it.
- After filling in the required details, they must scan the admission form and send its PDF file to LFU’s whatsapp number โ7720033007โ.
- After the coaching receives the admission form, LFU will call the selected students for an interview via phone call.
- Thereafter, students will be selected for the free NEET coaching.ย
