DU SOL 2023 – 6 New Job Oriented Courses Launched At UG, PG Levels

October 04, 2022, New Delhi, DU SOL 2022: The University of Delhi has introduced six new courses in an effort to give students additional career-focused training. As part of the School of Open Learning (SOL), these courses include the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and several other undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) courses. 

Yogesh Singh, the Vice-Chancellor of Delhi University, said that the School of Open Learning (SOL) has been in existence for 60 years and that no new courses have been introduced in a very long period. These courses have been launched keeping this lack of new courses in mind.

Elaborating further on the newly introduced courses, Mr. Singh added, “We are launching six new courses in SOL. The first course is the Master of Business Administration (MBA). The second is Bachelor of Business Administration (Financial Investment Analysis), Bachelor of Management Studies, Bachelor of Arts-Economics (Hons), Bachelor of Library and Information Sciences, and Masters of Library and Information Sciences.” 

These courses were released following proper permission from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Distance Education Bureau (DEB). DU will offer more such courses to suit the academic needs of students who are primarily interested in pursuing an MBA.
