IIT JEE Paper Leak 2023 – CBI Detained Russian Hacker At IGI Airport

New Delhi, 4 October 2022, JEE Paper Leak: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a Russian national for his involvement in the paper leak of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The person is identified as Mikhail Shargin, who arrived from Almaty, Kazakhstan, to India on 3 September 2022. He was identified by the Bureau of Immigration at Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.

  • The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has issued a lookout circular against Mikhail Shargin, who is suspected to be the main hacker for revealing the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2021 question paper.
