New Delhi, 20 June 2022 – DDA Recruitment 2022 – The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has issued an open call for candidates to apply for positions such as Programmer, Junior Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical), and others. Eligible candidates can apply online at dda.gov.in, the DDA’s official website, by 10 July 2022. 

The DDA recruitment exam will be held from 1 September to 10 September 2022. There are 279 positions open under the DDA recruitment process, and hence, candidates will have a large number of opportunities to apply and get selected.

DDA Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility

  • A candidate must be either:
    • an Indian citizen
    • a Nepalese subject
    • a Bhutanese subject
    • a Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India
    • a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, and the United Republic of Tanzania 
  • Age Limit: Between 18 to 27 years. 
  • For Assistant Director posts, the age limit is up to 35 years (relaxable to 40 years in the case of SC/ST).
  • A postgraduate diploma in landscape architecture or an architecture degree from a recognised university/institution or equivalent, or a bachelor’s degree in Botany, Agriculture, or Horticulture from a recognised university/institute is required.

DDA Recruitment 2022 – How to Apply?

Step I (Application):

  • Candidates can apply online by visiting the DDA’s official website, www.dda.gov.in, and clicking on “Jobs” -> “Select Job Category” -> “Direct Recruitment 2022.”
  • Candidates will be directed to the instructions page, where they must accept the terms & conditions by checking the ‘I Agree’ box and clicking on the ‘Start’ button.
  • Applicants must then sign up using their valid email addresses and mobile phone numbers.
  • A one-time password (OTP) and login information will be sent to the e-mail ID and mobile number provided, so candidates should double-check the e-mail ID and mobile number before proceeding.

Step II:

  • The candidate should now log in and fill out all of the required information in the online form about himself/herself correctly, as well as upload his/her photograph and signatures.
  • Then, they need to click on the “Preview” tab to ensure that all of the information is correct. If there is an error, it can be corrected before finally clicking the “Submit” button. 
  • After successfully submitting the online application, candidates are advised not to reapply for the same position. 
    • The candidates must then download the confirmation page for future reference.

Note: If multiple applications are received for the same position, the one with the highest registration number will be considered the final application.)

Step III: Application Fee Remittance Guidelines

  • After successfully submitting the application form, the candidates will be automatically transferred to the ‘SBI MOPS’ gateway to make the payments online for application fees. 
  • They must proceed after checking the disclaimer box and select the category ‘DDA APPLICATION FEES 2022’. 
  • The following information will be pulled automatically from the database:
    • Application sequence number
    • Applicant’s name
    • Post applied category exam
  • Verify the information and click the ‘Confirm’ button.
  • Now, select the appropriate ‘Payment Mode’
    • Internet banking of SBI and its associate banks
    • RuPay-powered debit card
    • Unified Payment Interface (UPI) (BHIM UPI)
  • Review the charges/commissions for the chosen ‘Mode of Payment’ and deposit the required examination fee.

Note: The journal number or transaction number provided by the bank should be kept for future reference, and the e-receipt should be printed for personal records.

DDA Recruitment 2022 – Selection Procedure

Assistant Director (Landscape) Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed after a single-stage online examination.

 

The question paper will be of 2 hours and consist of 120 marks.

There will be 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of the specific field as well as questions on reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general awareness, and English language tests.

Junior Engineer (Civil) Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed after a single-stage online examination.

 

The question paper will be of 2 hours and consist of 120 marks.

There will be 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of the specific field as well as questions on reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general awareness, and English language tests.

Junior Engineer (Electrical/Mechanical) Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed after a single-stage online examination.

 

The question paper will be of 2 hours and consist of 120 marks.

There will be 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of the specific field as well as questions on reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general awareness, and English language tests.

Programmer Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed after a single-stage online examination.

 

The question paper will be of 2 hours and consist of 120 marks.

Junior Translator (Official Language) A two-stage examination will be taken (online & offline).

 

Stage I: There will be 200 multiple-choice questions of 200 marks each, divided into General Hindi (100 questions/100 marks) and General English (100 questions/100 marks) over the course of 2 hours.


Stage II: The examination will be pen and paper type with translation and essay of 200 marks and duration of 2 hours. It will include two translation passages—one from Hindi to English and one from English to Hindi—as well as an essay in both Hindi and English to assess the candidate’s translation skills as well as their ability to write and fully understand the two languages accurately, clearly, and effectively.

Planning Assistant Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed after a single-stage online examination.

 

The question paper will be of 2 hours and consist of 120 marks.

There will be 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of the specific field as well as questions on reasoning, quantitative aptitude, general awareness, and English language tests.

  • The mode of the online examination will be Hindi/English only. The weightage of marks for the computer-based examination will be 85%, and the weightage of marks for the interview will be 15% – unless otherwise specified.
  • Candidates should be aware that, in order to dissuade guesswork, there will be a penalty of 0.33 marks (negative marking) for wrong answers/multiple answers marked by a candidate in objective questions with four choices. However, if the question is worth two points, there will be a 0.66-point penalty (negative marking).
