The exam was conducted on 1 September in six phases across 567 cities in India. Over 14 lakh candidates registered to get admission to 42 universities across the country. The universities will release their own merit lists based on the CUET scores.

A total of 14,90,293 candidates appeared for the Common University Entrance Test Postgraduate (CUET-PG) exam.
