BSEB had extended the intermediate answer sheet evaluation date to March 14. Earlier it was March 9. Due to the introduction of a new evaluation system, most of the centres couldn’t complete the checking tasks within the specified deadline and hence, the board had to extend the deadline for the same. Moreover, the strike of teachers over ‘equal pay for equal work’ demand had also hampered the productivity of evaluation staff. Hence, these factors will surely cause a delay in the declaration of BSEB intermediate result 2020. The BSEB 12th result 2020 will be declared for art, commerce, and science streams on the same day.

Bihar Board 12th Class Result 2020 – Grace Marking System

BSEB grants grace marks to the students who fall minimally short of the minimum passing marks in one or two subjects. The grace marking system is explained as follows: 

  1. If a student fails by less than 8% in one subject, he/ she shall be awarded grace marks to pass the exam.
  2. In the case of two subjects, if students fail by less than 4% in each subject they will be awarded grace marks by the board.
  3. Also, if a student secures 75% aggregate but fails in a subject with less than 10%, he/she will be allowed to pass with grace marks.

Bihar Board 12th Class Result 2020 – Awards for Top Rankers

Bihar Government promotes talent by honouring the rank holders in BSEB intermediate result with cash and laptops. The government will give the following prizes to top 3 rankers in BSEB 12th result 2020:

  • Rank 1: Rs.1 lakh and a laptop, an e-book
  • Rank 2: Rs. 75,000 and a laptop, an e-book
  • Rank 3: Rs. 50,000 and a laptop, an e-book

Bihar Board 12th Class Result 2020 – Re-evaluation Process

The marks in class 12th decide the future of the students. Hence, the students not satisfied with their mark in BSEB class 12th result 2020, will be allowed to apply for rechecking of their answer sheets. To initiate the re-evaluation of the BSEB intermediate result, students need to fill an application form and pay the fee online on the official website.
