All India Bar Examination 2023 – Syllabus and Paper Pattern Released

All India Bar Examination 2022 The Bar Council of India (BCI) has released the syllabus and paper pattern for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) XVII (17). As per the official notification, the AIBE exam will be held in both pen and paper, and computer-based test (online) modes.

This year, the exam will be held across around 150 centers in 50 cities of the country. Nearly one lakh candidates are expected to sit for the same. he medium of the exam will be English and 22 other regional languages including Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepalese, Oriya, Punjabi, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Bodo, Santhali, Maithili, and Dogri.

All India Bar Examination 2022 – An Overview of AIBE

AIBE is conducted by the Bar Council of India with an objective to examine a candidate’s capability to practice the profession of law in the country. The examination assesses a candidate’s analytical abilities and understanding of basic knowledge of law. After passing the examination, the candidates are awarded a “Certificate of Practice” by the Bar Council of India.

The notification bringing the All India Bar Examination into force was passed by the Legal Education Committee and the members of the Bar Council of India at duly constituted meetings on April 10, 2010 and April 30, 2010.
