UGC NET Exam Dates 2021 Declared by Union Education Minister

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced that the next UGC-NET exam for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor will be conducted from 2nd May 2021. Announcing the same on his twitter handle, Pokhriyal stated, β€œNational Testing Agency (@DG_NTA) will conduct next UGC-NET exam for Junior Research Fellowship & eligibility for Assistant Professor on 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10, 11, 12, 14 & 17 May 2021. Further, the online UGC NET 2021 application form has also been made available on the official website and the last date to register and pay the fees is 2 March, 2021.Β 

UGC NET is conducted twice every year. However, due to the pandemic last year, the June 2020 exam got postponed and deferred to September 2020 until November 2020. As a result, the December 2020 cycle had to be postponed and is now being conducted in March-April 2021.Β
