New Delhi, 09 September 2022, Bihar Board 2023: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will be conducting the BSEB Class 10 and Class 12 board exams in February 2023. According to the media reports, BSEB has already prepared the question papers for the matriculation and intermediate exams. The tentative date sheet for the BSEB board exams 2023 is also released, however, the exact date sheet will be released later on the official website.
This year, 13 lakh students will appear for the BSEB Intermediate exams, while about 17 lakh students will appear for Class 10 matriculation exams administered by the Bihar Board.
Note: BSEB has not released any official statement regarding the exam dates. Once released, the final schedule will be posted on the official website – biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.
Bihar Board 2023 – Exam Schedule
As per media records, Bihar Board will conduct pre-board matriculation or Class 10 exams from 15 November 2022. The pre-board of intermediate or Class 12 exams will be conducted from 11 October 2022.

Bihar Board 2023 – Exam Guidelines
- The Bihar School Examination Board (BSBE) will conduct Class 10 and Class 12 exams in two shifts.
- The first shift will begin from 9:30 AM to 12:40 PM and the second shift will start from 1:45 PM to 4:55 PM.
- The students are expected to reach 30 minutes prior to the examination center.
- The first 15 minutes will be provided to students to read the question paper carefully.
Note: Visually impared children are allowed to keep writers during the examination. The exam committee has provided time relaxation of 20 minutes to such candidates.
Bihar Board 2023 – Marking Scheme
- The students must secure at least 30 marks out of 100 in each subject to be declared ‘Pass’ in BSEB examinations.
- 1st division is secured by the students who achieve 300 or more marks.
- 2nd division is secured by the students who achieve marks 225 or above.
- 3rd division is secured by the students who achieve marks between 150 and 225.
- The students will be declared ‘Fail’ if they secure less than 150 marks in total.
How to Prepare for Bihar Board 2023 Exams?
- The students are advised to make a study schedule according to the suitable time.
- Analyze the pattern of marking scheme to secure good marks in the exams.
- The students must complete the syllabus at least one month before the commencement of exams so that they can devote extra time for revision.
- Solving previous year mock tests and question papers will give an idea to the students about exam pattern, marking scheme, and frequently asked questions.
- To secure good marks in the exams, students should practice important questions that are frequently asked in the question papers.
- The students must make notes of formulas of subjects like Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
