New Delhi, 11 September 2022, RRB Group D Phase 4 2022: The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has announced the RRB Group D exam schedule for phase 4. According to the notification posted on the official website – rrbcdg.gov.in – the Group D phase 4 test will begin on 19 September 2022.ย
The candidates will receive their call letters four days prior to the test date. The link for exam city and date is already available on the official website of Railway Recruitment Board (RRB).
Note:
- RRB Group D Phase 4 exams are held to recruit candidates for 1,03,769 open positions, including Assistant in Technical Departments, Track Maintainer, and many more.ย
- The RRB Group D Phase 4 exams will be conducted in various locations namely – Central Railway (Mumbai), Eastern Railway (Kolkata), and North Eastern Railway (Gorakhpur).ย
- The exam schedule for South Western Railway (Hubli) will be announced shortly.
- The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) can change the exam dates, considering the ongoing pandemic situation.ย

RRB Group D Phase 4 2022 – Document Verification
The phase 4 of the RRB Group D selection process consists of two rounds – document verification followed by the medical test.ย
To proceed for the medical test, the final shortlisted candidates must submit the following documents:ย
- High school examination certificate
- Proof for date of birth
- Matriculation qualification
- NCVT (National Council of Vocational Training)/ SCVT (State Council of Vocational Training) diploma certificate
- Medical certificate
- No Objection Certificate (Serving Defense Personnel)
- Scheduled Castes (SC) or Schedule Tribes (ST) certificate
- Other Backward Classes certificate (OBC)
- Income certificate
- Non-Creamy Layer certificate (NCL)
- Medical certificate
- Adhaar card (photocopy)
- Minority Community declaration certificate
- Receipt of challan-based fee payment
- J & K domicile certificate
- Death certificate of spouse (widow candidate)

Note –ย
- It is compulsory for candidates to be physically present for the document verification round.
- The documents can be either in Hindi or English language.
- The candidates must carry original as well as the photocopy of the required documents.
- If candidates fail to provide all the required documents, they will be disqualified from the RRB Group D Recruitment process.
RRB Group D Phase 4 2022 – Medical Test
The candidates are required to clear the medical test phase after the document verification round. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has divided the standard of medical test into six parts namely – A2, A3, B1, B2, C1 and C2.ย
The candidates must fulfill the required eligibility criteria for the medical test:ย
- Eligible candidates must be physically fit in all aspects.ย
- The distance vision should be 6/9, without specs and near vision both should be 0.6.ย
- Candidates must pass the test without glasses.
- Candidates must clear the colored vision test, binocular vision and night vision.
