NEET UG 2022 Likely to be Postponed, PG Exam Correction Portal Open

New Delhi, 29 March 2022: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2022 is likely to be postponed to the month of July. The notification for the same is expected to be released soon. However, as of now, no date has been finalized yet. IInterested candidates who wish to appear for the medical entrance test can register online on the official website. In addition to this, the confirmation page of the NEET 2022 application form will also be available on the DigiLocker app and the website.Β

NEET UG 2022 – Postponement Reasons

  • Experts have pointed out that there are already multiple state board examinations which will end in June 2022.Β 
  • Also, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) board exams 2022 will end by mid-June. Hence, the NEET exam might be delayed.
  • A few experts have also pointed out that NTA would also be preoccupied with the declaration of JEE Main 2022 result in the month of June. Hence, it might get difficult for it to conduct NEET as well.Β

  • NEET 2022 might be conducted by mid-July with result declaration expected by or before 31 August 2022.
  • The NEET UG upper age limit year has been removed for all candidates. Earlier, the age limit for General category candidates was 25 years and for reserved category candidates it was 30 years.Β 

NEET PG 2022 – Application Correction Portal Open

The application correction window for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2022 will open today, that is 29 March 2022. Medical aspirants who have already submitted their NEET PG application 2022 and wish to make changes in the application form will be able to do so till 7 April 2022.Β 

How to Make Changes in NEET PG 2022?Β 

  • Candidates are required to visit the official website
  • On the homepage, they are required to click on the ‘NEET PG 2022’ link.
  • Then, they will be required to enter their login details.
  • After logging in, they will be required to click on the edit window and make changes in the application form.
  • Once done, the NEET PG 2022 application form can be submitted and the confirmation page can be saved for future use.Β
