23 February 2022 – The date for the Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (MPTET) 2022 has been announced by the Madhya Pradesh Professional Examination Board (MPPEB). As per the announcement, the exam will be conducted across 16 cities in Madhya Pradesh on 5 March 2022. Candidates can get more details on the official website of the MPPEB – peb.mp.gov.in.
Nearly 11 lakh candidates are expected to attend the MPTET 2022 exam from 16 cities of the state, including Bhopal, Indore, Gwalior, Jabalpur, Ujjain, Neemuch, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Sagar, Satna, Khandwa, Guna, Sidhi, Damoh, Chhindwara and Balaghat.
All exam-related details such as exam city, venue, and shift timings are provided on the MPTET 2022 admit card and candidates are advised to check the details before going to the exam centre to avoid any confusion.

MPTET 2022 Exam: Important Details
- The MPTET 2022 examination will be held in two shifts on 5 March 2022.
- Shift 1 will be from 9:30 am to 12 noon and Shift 2 will be from 3 pm to 5:30 pm, respectively.
- In each shift, aspirants will be given 2.5 hours to complete the paper.
- Candidates will also get a reading time of 10 mins before the commencement of the exam.
- It is mandatory to bring the admit card and the original photo ID card to the examination centre. As the ID card, a candidate can carry any one of Voter ID, PAN card, Aadhar card, Driving License, or Passport.
- To be eligible for the exam, all candidates must be registered in the employment office of the state as well.
- Applicants must carry black ball point pens to write the exam.
- After the commencement of the examination, no candidate will be allowed to leave the examination hall until the paper ends.
