New Delhi, 4 October 2021 – The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department (उत्तर प्रदेश बेसिक शिक्षा अनुभाग) has released the Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) datesheet/ timetable on 27th September 2021. According to the revised schedule, the Teacher Eligibility Test 2021 exam will now be conducted on 28th November 2021 and the results will be declared on 28th December 2021. UPTET 2021 – Revised Notification (संशोधित अधिसूचना)
- As per the latest update and fresh government notification, the UPTET 2021 notification will be released today, i.e., 4th October 2021.
- The UPTET application process will begin from 7th October 2021 and the registration window will close on 25th October 2021.
- As per the orders issued by R.V Singh, Special Secretary, Basic Education, aspirants can submit their exam application fee till 26th October 2021 and can take a printout of the duly filled application form till 27th October 2021.
- On behalf of the Secretary Examination Regulatory Authority, the number of district-wise applicants will be sent to the District School Inspector for fixation of exam centres by 26th October 2021.
- The district-level examination centres will be fixed latest by 2nd November 2021.
- The list of exam centres along with the allotment of candidates will be sent to the Secretary, ERA by the District-level Committee by 8th November 2021.
- The exam authority will release the UPTET admit cards online by 17th November 2021.
- All objections will be disposed of by the subject expert committee by 22nd November 2021.
- To do away with impersonation, the centre superintendents have been asked to create a list of candidates along with their scanned photographs by 24th November 2021.
- Based on the report by the subject expert committee, the UPTET final answer key will be released on 24th November 2021.
- For appointments in primary schools, the UPTET exam 2021 will be held from 10 AM to 12.30 PM on 28th November 2021
- For upper primary schools, the exam will be conducted from 2.30 PM to 5 PM on the same date.
- The preliminary UPTET answer key will be uploaded on the official website on 2nd December 2021.
- Candidates can raise objections online till 6th December 2021.

UPTET 2021 – What Happened Earlier?
The UPTET 2021 notification was earlier scheduled to be released in May 2021 and the exam was to be conducted on 25th July 2021. However, the timetable was disrupted and the exam was postponed due to the surge in COVID-19 cases throughout India.
Latest Update
As per the recent update, the number of candidates applying for TET is expected to be less as compared to previous years as the validity of TET certificates has now been made lifelong. Initially, the validity limit was fixed at 5 years. However, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath has approved the proposal to make the UPTET pass certificate valid for a lifetime.
