Dr Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has determined the exam pattern in the official notification of UPSEE 2020 exam. This exam pattern is defined course-wise. Aspirants must go through the UPSEE exam pattern thoroughly before beginning with their preparations, so as to schedule and plan what is to be done and how it is to be done. 

It must be noted that as per a recent update, the UPSEE 2020 exam will be held on September 20, 2020. The exam was previously scheduled to be conducted on August 2, 2020 which has now been postponed due to the COVID-19 lockdown across the nation. In such a situation, candidates have got more time to prepare holistically for the exam. It is recommended for the applicants to plan their preparations in sync with the exam pattern to register success in UPSEE 2020. UPSEE Exam Date Announced: UPSEE 2020 will be held on September 20, 2020. The last date for submission of UPSEE online admission forms is May 31 (11:59 pm) and the deadline to make corrections in the online forms is June 3,2020 (11:59 pm). 

UPSEE Exam Pattern – Highlights

1. AKTU will conduct the paper 1, paper 2, paper 3, and paper 4 via Optical Mark Recognition or OMR methodology. The candidates appearing for these papers will be required to mark their answers on the OMR sheets.
2. Only the use of a blue or black ball point pen will be allowed to mark the answers in OMR sheets in the exam. No other ink pen must be used while writing the UPSEE 2020 exam.
3. UPSEE 2020 exam will be conducted in both Hindi and English language, i.e. the medium of language of the exam will be both the languages. In case a test-taker attempts a question in both the languages, English version will be considered as final by the conducting authority.
4. It must be noted that there is no provision of negative marking in this exam, but the authority will keep a record of the number of incorrect answers given by the candidates. Incorrect responses of candidates are referred to in case if there is a tie in the UPSEE scores of two or more candidates. In such a case, a candidate with less number of incorrect responses will be preferred.
