According to the notification released on the official website – sbi.co.in., the SBI CBO exam will be held for 1422 vacancies.

- Candidates must be citizens of India.
- Candidates applying for the exam must be at least 21 years of age.
- Candidates must have been born no earlier than 30 September 2001.
- Candidates must have obtained a graduate degree from a recognized university.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in any of the scheduled commercial or rural banks.

SBI Recruitment 2022 – Selection Process and Exam Pattern
The selection for Circle Based Officer (CBO) will be done through a three-phase process, namely, an online test, screening, and finally an Interview.
- Online test: The online test will consist of objective tests for 120 marks and a descriptive test for 50 marks. The duration of the descriptive test is 30 minutes. It will be a test of the English language with two questions for a total of 50 marks.
- Screening: The online application and documents of candidates who are shortlisted based on
performance in the online examination will be placed before the Screening Committee. The committee will further shortlist candidates for the interview round.
- Interview: The interview rounds will consist of 50 marks. The candidates will have to score minimum qualifying marks for the final selection. The minimum scoring marks will be decided by the bank.
Exam Pattern
- The online test will consist of objective and descriptive questions.
- The duration of the objective test is 2 hours, and the duration of the descriptive test is 30 minutes.
- There will be no negative marking for objective-type questions.
- A merit list will be drawn circle-wise and category-wise on the basis of the aggregate marks scored in the online test.

SBI Recruitment 2022 – Salary
- The SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) salary is INR 36,000.
- The joining amount, which will be provided during the training period is INR 21,000.
- Along with the fixed salary, the candidate will also get other benefits, including dearness allowances, travel allowances, house allowances, and earned leaves.
- After completing the probation period, candidates need to undergo an assessment as per standards determined by the State Bank of India.
