RRB NTPC Exam Analysis for 2023 Shift 1 and 2 – Check Details 

RRB has successfully conducted the RRB NTPC examination (CBT Shift 1 & 2) on 28th December 2020. On the first day of the first phase of the examination, around 23 lakhs candidates sat for the highly awaited examination. The RRB NTPC was conducted in online mode in the following two shifts:

  • Forenoon (Shift 1) – 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM
  • Afternoon (Shift 2) – 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM 

Railway Recruitment Board ensured that the invigilators and candidates follow the COVID-19 guidelines prescribed by the Union Health and Home Ministry. 

Apart from the well-ordered examination process, several candidates have shared their examination experience with Buddy4Study. Candidates who appeared on Day 1 in both the shifts, reviewed the papers as moderate and balanced. The total marks allotted for the CBT 1 exam is 100, with 30 marks each for Maths, General Intelligence and Reasoning sections and 40 marks for the General Awareness section.

Nitu Singh, an RRB candidate who took the Shift 1 exam, reviewed the NTPC paper to be moderate and stated, “The questions were of a moderate difficulty level. The questions were mainly asked from history and Biology. However, I felt Reasoning and Mathematics questions were a bit on the difficult side.”

Another candidate, Debanjan Pakrasi of Shift 2 found the paper to be easy. According to him, “The questions from Reasoning and Mathematics were unexpectedly easy. Static GK and General Awareness questions were kind of okay. However, most of the questions were focused on miscellaneous topics.”

RRB NTPC Analysis – Outcome

The outcome of the RRB NTPC analysis states that the level of asked questions was moderate and candidates preparing for their upcoming exam are required to solve more than 70-80 questions to be in the race to get shortlisted for the RRB NTPC Mains examination.
