The OSSC exam dates 2022 for the month of September and October has been made available by the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) on the official website- www.ossc.gov.in. OSSC 2022 Exam Pattern

The Odisha Staff Selection Commission sets the OSSC 2022 exam pattern and syllabus. The OSSC conducts a two- level test that includes written test and certificate verification. 

  1. Level 1 (Written Test)– The OSSC 2022 exam includes Mathematics and Reasoning related questions. The time duration of the exam is 1.5 hours. There will be only objective type questions that carry 0.25 negative marking for every wrong answer.
  2. Level 2 (Certificate Verification)– The OSSC 2022 certificate verification procedure is only  for the candidates who have cleared all levels of selection. Reservation-seeking candidates must carry the necessary supporting documentation.

The following documents are required for the verification of candidates: 

  • Recent passport size colored photographs (2)
  • One original photo-ID proof 
  • Educational qualification certificate
  • Category certificate (if any)
  • Person with Disability (PwD) certificate (if any)
  • Serving Defense Personnel Certificate (if any)
  • Age Relaxation Certificate (if any)

OSSC 2022 Exam Eligibility

The candidate must be a citizen of India who can fluently read, write and speak Odia. Applicants must have passed middle school or higher school examination with Odia as a main language subject.

OSSC 2022 – Salary

According to the rules of the Government, the basic salary of an OSSC Officer is decided by the Odisha Service Selection Commission. As per online sources, the selected candidates are initially provided with an entry-level annual salary package of INR 1.60 lakhs per annum. Along with the fixed salary package, candidates are also entitled to a number of perks, including house rent allowances, travel allowances and medical allowances.
