New Delhi, 25 June 2022 – OPSC ASO Exam 2022 – The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has released the written examination schedule for the post of Assistant Section Officer on its official website: opsc.gov.in. The commission will conduct the written exam for the Assistant Section Officer post against Advt. No. 26 of 2021-22 on 21 August 2022 (Sunday).

OPSC ASO Exam 2022 – Details
- The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) will conduct the written exam for the Assistant Section Officer post in three sittings on 21 August 2022:
- Paper-I for General Awareness will be held in the first sitting from 9 am to 10.30 am.
- Paper-II for the test of Reasoning & Mental Ability and Mathematics will be conducted in the second sitting from 11.30 am to 1 pm.
- Paper-III for Language, English and Odia, will be held in the third sitting from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm
Note:
- Exams will be conducted at different educational institutions of 30 districts and 3 sub-divisions of the state.
- Candidates qualified for the written exam round should note that the commission will upload the roll number/venue of examination center/admission certificate and Instruction to candidates in due course of time on its official website.
OPSC ASO Exam 2022 – Age Limit and Number of vacancies
- The minimum age limit for the candidates is 21 years and the maximum age limit for candidates is 35 years of age.
- The total number of posts available for candidates is 796 in total, out of which:
- 447 are for the unreserved category
- 62 are reserved for Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC)
- 109 are reserved for the Scheduled Classes (SC) category
- 178 are reserved for the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category
