NTSE Stage II 2023 Final Answer Key Released; Result to be Declared by 10 July 

New Delhi, 16 June 2021 – The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has announced that the final result of the NTSE Stage II exam 2020 may be released by 10th July 2021. 

In the meanwhile, NCERT has released the NTSE stage II 2020 final answer key along with the OMR sheets. Class 10 students who appeared for the second phase of the National Talent Search Examination (NTSE 2019-20) on 14 February 2021 were able to visit the official website of NCERT – www.ncert.nic.in to tally and check both the documents till 15 June 2021. 

Note: Students can however, download both the OMR sheet as well as the final answer key from the links provided below.

How to Download NTSE Stage 2 Answer Key 2020?

While candidates are eagerly waiting for the final result, for now, they can check their NTSE Stage 2 final answer keys by following these simple steps given below:

About NTSE Stage II Exam 2020

NCERT organizes the National Talent Search Exam (NTSE) exam every year at 2 levels:

  • Stage-I (State/UT level) 
  • Stage-II (National level)

Nearly 2,000 scholarships are awarded to students from Class 10 to the doctoral level for different stages of education. Only those candidates who have cleared the Stage I exam are eligible to appear for the Stage II exam. 

The NTSE stage 2 exam is divided into two parts– Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). The final award is declared based on the combined scores of MAT and SAT. Each section had 100 questions comprising:

  • Science –  40 marks
  • Maths –  20 marks
  • Social Science –  40 marks

Each paper had a duration of 120 minutes with no negative marking system.

The first stage of NTSE 2020-21 was conducted on 12th and 13th December 2020 and the Stage 2 exam was scheduled to be held on 13th June 2021. However, due to the ongoing pandemic situation, the NTSE stage 2 exam stands postponed. Only after the COVID-19 situation normalizes in the country, NCERT would conduct Stage 2 of the NTSE 2021 examination.
