BArch Eligibility 2021 Relaxed, Informs Education Minister

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced big news in favour of B.Arch degree aspirants for the academic year 2021-22. As per Pokhriyal’s announcement on his twitter handle, the admission criteria for B.Arch degree course admissions has been relaxed for the academic session 2021-22.

This move has been taken in view of the disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Hence, instead of the eligibility criteria of 50% in PCM and aggregate of 10+2, now the candidates are expected to only pass in Class 12 with PCM subjects OR pass in 10+3 Diploma with Mathematics as a subject.

The announcement on relaxation in B.Arch courses eligibility criteria implies that the eligibility of all major engineering exams including JEE Main 2021 and NATA 2021 will be changed. With the first session of JEE Main B.Arch exam 2021 already conducted, Class 12 passed (with PCM) candidates and 10+3 diploma (with Maths) passed candidates can now apply for JEE Main May session.
