I will be meeting you live on Dec 3 to discuss the upcoming competitive & board #exams. Share your concerns/suggestions with me using #EducationMinisterGoesLive.”
The MHRD minister has already spoken out regarding the challenges faced in conducting the exams amidst the COVID 19 pandemic. But he also mentioned that conducting the examinations is crucial for aspirants who are seeking admissions in the desired higher educational institutions.
He said -“Despite the uncertainty looming around due to the COVID 19 pandemic, it is crucial to conduct board examinations as well as entrance examinations for admissions to higher educational institutions”.
As there is a massive surge in COVID-19 cases, many state governments have closed the schools again. Also, CBSE is yet to announce the schedule for the 2021 session (which generally is declared by the month of November every year). The government had earlier hinted that the CBSE board exams might get delayed by a month or two. Although, no official confirmation by the officials at the Central Board of Secondary Education has been recorded yet.
Further, JEE Main officials also said recently that the JEE Main 2021 January session is likely to be shifted to February 2021. The Education Minister previously also said that the syllabus for CBSE board and other competitive examinations ought to be reduced to make it fair for the students.
