Maharashtra Class 10 and 12 Board Exam Final Date Sheet Announced. Check Here

The Maharashtra Board has released the final date sheet of SSC and HSC (Class 10 and 12) board examinations on its official website, after considering the current pandemic situation within the state. The exams will be held in offline mode only between April 23, 2021 and May 21, 2021.

New Delhi, 01 March 2021: Amidst the sudden increase of COVID-19 cases within the state, the Maharashtra Education Minister, Varsha Gaikwad confirmed that Maharashtra Board Class 10 and 12 exams would be conducted offline only from April 23, 2021 and May 21, 2021. Many teachers and parents were appealing for the examinations to be conducted online due to the current pandemic situation, addressing to which, the Minister added, “It is not possible presently to conduct board examinations in online format”. 

In view of this, the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) has released the final date sheet for Maharashtra SSC and HSC examinations on its official website. As per the time-table, while the SSC (Class 10) examinations are scheduled between April 23, 2021 and May 21, 2021, the HSC (Class 12) examinations will be conducted from April 29, 2021 to May 20, 2021. Maharashtra Board Class 10 and 12 Exam – Other Details

  1. This year, approximately 30 lakh students are expected to appear for the Maharashtra Board Class 10 and 12 examinations across the state.
  2. The Board will soon release the details on social distancing norms to be followed at all the exam centers.
  3. The examination will be conducted in offline mode only in two shifts.
  4. The first shift will start from 10:30 AM and continue till 1:30 PM whereas the second shift will start from 3:00 PM and continue till 6:00 PM.
