Soon after the announcement, the official information brochure got released on the official website of the National Testing Agency- jeemain.nta.nic.in. The premier entrance test in the country which is the gateway for admission to elite institutions like NITs, IITs and GFTIs, will be held in multiple sessions in the year 2021. These sessions will be held in February, March, April and May 2021.Â
Prior to the LIVE interaction, the Education Minister tweeted,

Previously, on 15th December 2020 (Wednesday), the National Testing Agency (NTA) released an official information brochure on the official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in. The brochure contained information regarding the JEE Main 2021 schedule and other essential information. However, the brochure was removed from the official website by 7 pm on the same day. On the removal of the official brochure from NTA’s website, the Education Ministry later stated that “no decision has been taken on JEE Main dates yet” and that “NTA has denied the report”.
Though the syllabus remains the same, the exam authorities have introduced a “relaxation” in the exam pattern after receiving suggestions from students. Candidates must attempt any 25 questions in each section. Also, for the first time, the JEE Main will be conducted in as many as 13 languages, which includes regional languages like Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu as well.

Eligible candidates must apply before 16th January 2021, which is the deadline for submitting the application forms for the February session of the exam.
