JEE Main 2021 notification likely to be released soon

National Testing Agency (NTA), the exam conducting body of JEE Main, is likely to release the official notification for the JEE Main January 2021 session by the end of November 2020. The official brochure would possess all the details as per the sequence of the exam events –

Generally, the JEE Main application forms for the January session are released 4 months before (in the month of September). However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the governing body had to revise the schedule. It seems that the application window for the JEE Main January session 2021 may start from the 1st week of December 2020. Earlier, NTA conducted the JEE Main 2020 from 1st September to 6th September 2020. This was the April session which had to be postponed to September due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.ย

JEE Main 2021 Application Form – How to apply?

Aspiring candidates who seek to apply for the JEE Main 2021 January session can follow the steps given below-ย 

  • Visit the official website of JEE Main 2021-jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  • Click on the โ€œNew Registrationโ€ tab (Once the facility is made available)
  • Register by entering the credentials like applicantโ€™s name, mobile number and a valid email address.
  • Further, proceed with filling all the required personal and educational details.
  • Upload scanned copies of required documents such as photographs and the signature of the applicant.
  • Pay the required application fees.
  • Go through the filled details on the application form and finally click on the โ€œSubmitโ€ tab.

JEE Main 2021 January session will be conducted in CBT mode (Computer-based test). The exam is the gateway towards getting admission in B.E/B.Tech,B.Arch and B.Plan courses offered in esteemed institutes like NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. Candidates securing a rank amongst top 2,50,000 in JEE Main exam are considered eligible to appear for the coveted JEE Advanced. Students securing a qualifying score in JEE Advanced are considered eligible to get admission in the various IIT institutes.
